LASERBEAM HT DT- double technology barrier :: LASERBEAM HT

5513 B3 Laserbeam HT Dualtech (ACTIVE I.R. + RADAR)

Generality: this device has two thin bars, approx. 1m high, to be installed at the sides of a d/w fixture; three infrared rays at different heights are created between the bars, which the passing of a person interrupts: subsequently, a radar controlled is activated, which captivates the intruder's movement therefore setting off an alarm. Using two different detecting technologies in the same device, the possibilities of improper alarm due to possible fortuitousness, are reduced.
Use features: protection of passages up to 6m in an alarm system, both inside and outside, if protected from bad weather.
Installation features: the thin structure of the devices makes the installation easy without creating aesthetic problems, but care must be taken in perfectly locating, face to face, the two bars. By strictly following the instructions programming is easy. It is recommended not to expose the devices to direct sunlight, in case remedy through installation mechanisms (opaque borders at the exposed sides of the bars).

Power supply: 6 LR14  1.5V alkaline batteries, for an autonomy of nearly two years with normal use.
Anti-tampering: signals opening of the batteries' compartment. With system armed, protection against remove is implicit.
Radio transmission: simultaneous DualBand frequency in accordance with EU law. Range suitable for use.
Control and test: when the batteries compartment is open, there is acoustic confirmation of the ray's interruption (continuous beep) and of the radar alarm (intermittent beep). With operative system the test happens by causing an alarm and verifying the reception of the control panel.

Functions of the device:
1) immediate arming of the radar part following the interruption of one or more rays (events not signalled via radio).
2) radar check and alarm transmission to control panel in case of persons moving inside area of transit.
3) signal via radio of restored calm state (end alarm).
4) signal via radio of tampering once event is verified; of low battery and operating status (supervision) every 40 minutes.

Device local signals: none.

Accessories: a further 4 rays barrier is available (code 5413 E4 supplied with batteries) which prolongs protection up to a height of approx. 2m and automatically functions once connected to the basic barrier. Equally available, an additional battery box (code 5977 supplied with batteries) which doubles the autonomy of barrier 5513, if installed without the above described extension.
